Hi fellas, I just got in from a Hornets game a little while ago, and - since Tulane doesn't allow freshmen to keep cars on campus - I rode the bus to and from the N.O. Arena. Well, it was drizzling on the way there and pouring on the way back. Anyway, I was wearing a pair of Banana Republic "stretch" charcoal grey wool pants: 62% wool, 20% polyester, 17% nylon, 1% spandex. New Orleans is none for filling up like an empty bowl when it rains, and - true to form - it did. When I was crossing the street to get back on campus, I had to choose between jumping across/into a half-foot deep puddle or getting hit by the cars coming my way. Wanting to live, I tried to clear the puddle. After that, I came upon more of the same: the water got past my ankles and splashed a little higher, as well. Is there anything I can do to keep the bottoms of my pant legs from mildewing? They got pretty wet, but I'm hanging them up to dry and Febrezing them. Any other advice? Thanks very much in advance.
