This is a very nice belt, and I'd certainly be keeping it if it were my size. This is marked 38/95. Here is the belt on polo.com, and a few quick pictures of my own are below. No shipping to California on the 'gator belt, as I seem to recall it is illegal to import alligator skin products there. Yours for $200.

The second belt is pretty cool, and I wish it was my size. Alas, it's a M and I'm an S. Ralph calls this an "equestrian" belt, and I believe the buckle is brass (it's not clear on the belt itself. 1" wide. Polo.com says a M is equivalent to a size 36 or a 34" pant waist. That seems about right to me from a brief check to see if it was small enough. There is no tag, but MSRP must have been $300, given the price of comparable belts. Yours for $100.

No selling in California? Are you sure? I'm seen gator belts , shoes, etc., in high-end men's stores in LA and SanF.
This company makes and sells alligator shoes in LA. Unless they have there own gator farm in LA, they are importing skins>

I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember polo.com refusing to ship to California.

Isn't that a violation of interstate commerce?

Cool belts, though.

I believe crocodile is legal in CA; only python skin is restricted.

Apologies for being thick, but that's an example of that "irony" thing I've been reading so much about, right?

Not anymore, a new law was just passed that makes it legal to sell gator and crocodile goods in CA for the next few years.

Alan, it may well be that you know this and were just making a shorthand reference to the possible reason for RL not shipping to California (i.e., prohibitory legislation). If so, my apologies for needless pendantry. But interstate commerce clause issues (sometimes referred to as "negative Commerce Clause" issues) arise when States act in ways that interfere with interstate commerce. If a company were for some independent business reason to choose not to ship to or do business in a particular state, that would not by itself pose a Constitutional problem.

Then again, it's been a while since my 2L Con Law class, so take my off-the-cuff observations with the appropriate measure of salt.
