I have these as well as a brown pair of very similar but not identical ones. (can't remember the model name.) They're just a classic styled, non-bulky loafer. So many today have that ridiculous...

I own three pair of the AE Park Avenues, black, brown and merlot. This is my go-to everyday business shoe that I typically wear with a suit and tie. The quality is very good, the shoe shines up...

I got these during a seconds sale for a great price, but found that the 8D looked very blobby - the cap toe portion was very large, leading to a shape that was not very flattering. Ended up...

Back in 04 Popular Mechanics Mag had a short article on this technology and the video has been out since then as well. Rumor had it that this suspension would be introduced in a high end auto and it was surmised that it might be the new Lexus LS or Audi 8 series or a new big Benz but it didn't/hasn't happened.
a quote I found from How it Works:
Unfortunately, this paradigm-shifting suspension won't be available until 2009, when it will be offered on one or more high-end luxury cars. Until then, drivers will have to rely on the tried-and-true suspension methods that have smoothed out bumpy rides for centuries.
