Just got my Waxed Java on Friday.  Ordered about 7 or 8 weeks ago.  Absolutely beautiful!  I can't stop staring at them...I'll probably walk into a telephone pole like a teenager texting.

Marrone Horsehide now on sale:

Plain or cap toe?

Completely preference.  I'm a plain toe guy on stitchdowns usually.

That Horsehide seems nice.  I would like to see Truman get a Black mini ripple sole.  I think he has white, or used to (its not in the drop down currently).

Break in progress pics for all you stitch down lovers.

All three today, just in different lighting. (Navy Cavalier Chromexcel)

You can see the unstructured toe collapsing a little, no surprise.

Black waxed flesh after ~7 months.

Really enjoying how these are looking with a bit of wear.

New Boot Day!!

Truman Dark Olive Unstructured plain toe, 7 antique brass eyelets, keep pull tab, and Lactae-Hevea sole, size 12.5.

I have to size up .5 for Truman due to my Big Fat Toe. Truman size N feels very similar to, if not a touch more narrow than, the Viberg 2030 size (N - .5)

They smell like Chromepak, the leather is nice and thick and supple with nice pull-up.

The sole is natural latex and is heavy and soft.

I probably should have gone structured. I've never tried unstructured before. I don't think I'm going to like the collapsed toe box.
