No longer will our Monopoly money be the butt of so many American jokes.

Isn't that going to bone over a lot of the ridiculous internet moguls who make a tidy profit converting currencies from their websites between various online banks? (good, I say)

hahaha don't count on it. I think the fact that our money is colored is enough for the monopoly jokes to continue.

Heh yea, I think I was quoted $425 for their special order models last week (and it wasn't MTM or even a wide choice of leathers, it was just styles they don't normally carry).

Why don't you just order them from the US?

I'm sure most here do! I was browsing and chatting with an SA as they had a lot of new models displayed. I wanted to know if they were the new Italian line but they were just the new models they would special order. I think I was wearing Tramezzas I paid $325 NIB while browsing the Tramezzas there marked at $900. I don't think I could ever buy shoes at retail in Canada.

I think most Canadian forumites purchase from the net. With C&J Benchgrades for 350 CAD and Handgrades for 435 CAD from Plal, how could you not? Walking into any retail store in Canada makes me sick at the moment when I see how much we are being gouged.

From a consumer's perspective, an appreciation of your own currency is one of the worst things that could happen. So, enjoy your bragging rights while other people enjoy their pockets growing.

Why is that? I don't follow your logic.
