After search for endless hours for the perfect pair of boots I have found nothing....

The only pair of boots I have right now are Clarks desert boots in sand. I love the way they look with jeans but they get beat up so ******* easy its rediculous. I waterproofed the hell out of them but they still got waterstains on them. Dont even get me started on the crepe sole...

I would like a paif of chukkas that have a similar shape to clarks (sleek and not very clunky) that are not very formal.

Any help of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lately I've been jonesing after these from Alden

burgundy shell cordo chukka

These aren't that sleek, but that's why I like them so much.

You'd probably like the Paul Smith "British Collection" chukkas I'm wearing today as they're sleek, but they might seem too formal

If you have a Nordstrom close by, you might be able to get a nice but cheap pair from Faconnable for $150. The model name is "Adolfo" and you'll probably have to ask them to order it for you. I'll try and post pictures of mine later.

Have you looked at Sanatoni? I'm in the process of buying these...

I do like the loakes. That is the style I am going for but I am not crazy about the predistressing.

Maybe something like that in a beeswax type brown.
