Peet's Sumatra or french roast, or Trader Joe's Columbian, through a french press (preferred) or my Braun machine. I've yet to try making espresso.

Peet's Sulawesi-Kalosi or Aged Sumatran. I use a Brevetti Atomic stovetop espresso maker (thrifted, of course). First coffee of the day with steamed milk.
I like the Lebanese coffee with cardamom too. I used to buy it all the time in Prague--saved me from the agony of Tchibo.

We buy columbia supremo beans from a local roaster shop, grind the beans at home, and brew by the cup with a Melita filter and holder.

We also have a "barista bag" for travel that includes all the essentials for decent coffee on the road.

Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good.

You should really try the cafe franceis.

On another note, if you go to Corrado's in Clifton, you can get amazing Turkish coffee or the "Macedonian blend".

St. Eustachio il caffe, from the caffe by the same name across from the eponymous church, just behind the Pantheon in Rome. I've never had better coffee.
