Can you believe it's been six months already? I can't. Pitti begins, again, on the 13th of January.

We've got a legit crew this time. I'm talking sandlot-gang status. @LA Guy (the jock), his wife (the girl who fights dirtier than the guys do), @unbelragazzo (the glasses kid), @GauchoSteph (the literature club president), and me (god help us all). Between the five of us, it is possible we will be able to take a properly-focused picture. I am praying that Fok brings a scooter (even better, several), so that I can take at least one picture of him doing a sick tailwhip off the Pitti wall.

In what is perhaps my finest moment, I have also recruited the inimitably voluminous Gracia Ventus of The Rosenrot; a woman whose wardrobe has almost singlehandedly spawned at least one (to my knowledge) multi-volume space opera involving insane techno-wizards; giant, time-shredding, warp-riding mechs; sword-wielding cyborg ninjas; and the baddest space-pirate queen ever known to clichéd literature. My plan is to follow her around and photobomb every single blogging attempt, then drag her to bars with @Leaves and José from La Portegna and see what happens. Oh, she'll also be offering her own take, both fashion-related and otherwise, on this latest festival of nonsense.

The lineup this year looks, to me, more enticing than it has in the previous two iterations. The full list can be found here - once again, chime in if there's anything you're especially interested in seeing or anyone you're particularly interested in hearing about, and we'll do what we can. I guess there's some sort of American thing going on this time, which probably means 60-ounce denim jorts or something. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the fuss behind Arpenteur is about, checking in with my favorite vendor, Jun #imouto, and seeing what Camoshita has brought to the table for the winter. My biggest fear? What if I see Wooster, go over to say hi, and get totally blown off? I don't think I could handle that.

So? What you guys want? More store visits? More denim? Interviews with randoms? More CM-style stuff? There has even been talk of video, but it turns out none of us know how to use our computers. Speak up now or forever REST IN PIECES

Lulz Hood by Air and Marni as the guests. I await tales of our bedraggled chronicler pressing bravely onward through whatever the themed art installation is (ping pong last time?).

The various brand write ups are always nice, but I really enjoyed the "swap" article with @unbelragazzo.

Good luck to the SF contingent and we look forward to your tales of triumph and woe. I'm assuming Greg will be there too (not for SF duties)?

I'm certain he will - but I'll use the bat-signal (@gdl203 ) to call him over. I had managed to wipe HBA from my memory, but thank you for reminding me. I am certain we can find a way to...appreciate it.

Noted on the swap pieces, too - I think we both had a very good time with that.

The five of you rolling on scooters in slow motion past the Pitti wall with Puff Daddy "Bad Boy for Life" blastin seems to be the first thing that pops in my mind. Video please. The SF Pitti coverage gets better every year. Don't forget your chapstick.

It's great that you say this, because my first thought was all six of us piling out of a cab in slo-mo, clown car style, while "we own it" plays in the background

Like this, except Fok is Vin Diesel on a scooter, David is the race girl, and I am the extra paid to run from explosions while screaming crazily

with such a big crew, you might as well have chartered a private jet... Did you airbnb a mansion in the boboli gardens - complete with private chef and mixologist?

I only have one functional fold up scooter right now (another one awaits me in the Bay Area), but I'd be down with funding the others, if you guys are willing to risk your lives. They are actuallly really easy ot ride, though the ride over cobblestone is often a bit rough. Scooters rule.
