I was hoping for some sales like the US on AE. However, I must be blind because I've been there twice and could not find AE anywhere.

I wouldn't bother with AE.

Found a "secret" Crockett & Jones sale where the price comes out to the same price as buying AE in Canada.

You have to email them to get shipping to Canada.

Re: Gustin.

Quality has always been great. Just didn't fit how I wanted. Still wear some pieces from them often.

Yes tax + can post 10$ fee

Yah fit is what I'm worried about as well. Even XS seems roomy with their posted measurements for jackets.

That's the thing: I didn't see them on the floor either. But when I walked through the shoe section on opening weekend, I saw a guy sitting beside several Allen Edmonds shoe boxes, some of them open. They had to have come from somewhere!

I'm starting to even doubt myself at his point.

Here in Vancouver they had AE on sale for their annual anniversary a few months back for like $330 or less I think, which is comparable to the US AE website which put them on sale for 245 USD.

Unfortunately I'll only be in the HK vicinity, oh well.

@CanadaCal we just received the Milton in polo suede (my personal favourite), the Chelsea 8 in brown suede, the Brecon in brown grain leather, and the Northcote in black and brown wax leather. In addition, we now have the Tetbury in black suede and brown waxed calf as well as the Islay in brown grain leather. You could see them on our website or stop by in store at your convenience.

In my experience they almost certainly overcorrected.

That said they're still a good source for Alden/Crockett when they have a blanket 30-40% discount. Also pretty much the only place in town to buy shell cordo shoes (Leatherfoot is a little lacking in this department).

@chiggyv we just received the C&J Cavendish in burgundy shell and Alden shell longwings and moccasins. We are now able to order shell from Alden!
