Thanks for the heads up! I'm trying to take advantage of this as we speak!
People are saying that this winter is going to be extremely cold. Thinking about get a new down jacket. There is a sample sale this weekend in Richmond Hill. There are Canada Goose, Moose Knuckle, North Bear, Nobis, and a Mackage Jacket like this
I particular like the Mackage look.
CG MK Mackage all around $650. Is this a good deal? How do they compare in term of warmth? Is fill power the main factor I should consider?

I have one (40% off card), but mine says valid Oct 15-24.
FYI - I know I've mentioned this before, but maybe on another thread. Many of the sales and coupons do not apply to non-BB branded items, such as EG. I suspect that's part of the agreement they have with those brands.
Sometimes you just need something that can kick the conditions. My wife got me these last year, Irish Setter Treeline boots (Company is run by Red Wing).
They are fully water proof and very heavy duty, meant for long hunting expeditions (I'm often out wandering in the winter so it suits me well)
Not the prettiest but way better than a pair of Sorels IMHO
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Those Irish Setter Treeline boots looks good. I could use another badass winter boot. How did you size them? What size did you take in them? And what size do you usually take in other shoes (Allen Edmonds/Vass/Edward Green/Gaziano & Girling/etc...)?
