1. Solid Navy (!) repp tie - $79 CAD

2. Solid Navy Satin - $79

3. Brown Grenadine (Staple!) - $79

4. Solid Brown Knit Tie (Square end) - $69

These are steal prices considering it's in CAD dollars.

Interested in the brown grenadine. What is the width?

Also, pardon my ignorance but what is private label?

They are all 8cm.

When I say private label, I'm referring to how the grenadines I'm proxying are made specifically for a boutique's private label.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the event and we hope to see you again! Hopefully the weather is still pleasant in October and not like either today or yesterday!

We may have a bottle or two of something but no promises. You are more than welcome to bring beverages and food of your choosing; we would gladly provide the venue free of charge.

FYI, winter coat shipment came in at HR Outlet @ Vaughn Mills. There was a made in Italy D&G chesterfield coat I think 95/5 wool/cashmere that's very nice... but $1500... best to wait for a sale.

Also found a RLBL suit in my size/colour. Waiting for a sale on that as well.

I'm thinking navy as a staple since I have a few grey suits, and then for a second, could do silver for formal events, or brown for suit/tie events but not like weddings etc, or red but only if it's something toned down like a burgundy type color...

I'm feeling like navy and brown are day to day conservative, like for a job interview, and something like silver or wine/red/burgundy is flashy for a wedding. Those are my primary needs, and I do maybe one of each a year so I can pretty much scrap my pile of random ties and just have a few good ones. So I'm leaning towards navy and silver. Thoughts?

The navy would definitely be a staple. As for the silver it really depends on how you like to dress; in general it is not a colour we would recommend as part of the foundation of a tie collection. The brown or burgundy would be more versatile and you may find yourself wearing it on more occasions than you would with silver. If your shirts are mostly white or predominantly white the silver will likely be too close in colour to stand out.

If you do not have or want to wear ties regularly a navy for formal occasions, a knit tie for casual outings, and a patterned one similar to Cappeli for those occasions that is in between casual and formal could be all that you might ever need.

I think the time to hit either of the HR outlets for winter coats is in the dead of summer ie a month+ ago. I've snagged some dirty deals at Heartland on wintiez sittin in there while everyone shops polos or w/e. Canali cashmere driver's coat $5K $800 etc. They had some nice wool Baumler black more casual winter coats this summer extremely reduced also.

Hey guys, here's the update:

1. The ties have been ordered (20 in total!)

2. The ties will be here in a couple of weeks and we can arrange a place for pickup (shipping if outside of TO).

3. If you contacted me before 11, your order is in UNLESS the tie was sold out.

4. You can send payment via local meet up or paypal.

5. For those that PM'd after 11: if any of the other buyers fall through, I'll contact you.

6. Payment required for the ties asap.*

* Since the boutique doesn't ship to Canada, a relative of mine was kind enough to pick them up for me locally. He's going to send it to Canada, so I need to reimburse him for the cost of the ties.

Note that I have extensive feedback for local pickup and have done business with many of the regulars on this thread.

Just realised I missed this post. Indeed a steal, wish I had seen this one earlier and gave my order.

Props to othertravel on arranging the proxy nonetheless. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I might run this offer again in the future to include Mattabisch, Kiton and Isaia ties. Will keep everybody posted. And if anybody missed out on the grens, will let you all know if there are extras.

This would include:

1. Isaia squares for about $49 CAD (that's $37 US)
2. Drake's squares for about $49 CAD (Ditto)
3. Mattabisch ties for about $75 CAD ($57 US)
4. Isaia staple ties (solid navy, red) for $99 CAD ($76US)
5. Kiton staple ties for about $120 CAD (unreal quality) ($92US)

Behold the beauty of this solid navy Kiton:

I'd be in for a few ties if this came around again. Any problems shipping to Winnipeg?
