Back in Europe with brick walls it was much easier, but here I try to minimize things that I need to hang on the drywall. Studs and all that jazz...

Funny, I would say the exact opposite.  For a shoe rack I am building one for our front hallway.  Will be off the floor, probably out of pine and made to fit into a specific space.  Kind of like how you see the store fixtures where the boxes of G&G fit in perfectly.   I'll post pics when its done, but its not a priority so maybe near Xmas lol.

Shout out to @Allen Dreadmon

I picked these up today. Mostly AE shoes.

Stopped into Loding at FCP 'cuz I received a useful email informing me they now stock EEE (or simply L for large, as they stamp it). Zero of their narrow stock had fit me up to now.

Pretty good. Prolly pass as I already own a brown semibrogue.

This was one of four bestsellers available wide now. Black captoe, tan, this and some other. Sadly the nice GY loafer that looks like the JW Weston 180 (more than other makes do, anyway) hasn't and probably won't be manufactured wide : (

Loding = French full-grain leather/Portuguese labor + almost all GY. If some dandy doesn't believe that just hold a front kick, lol:

Every single model is $330 i.e. there is never a sale. So $372.90 to walk out the store. Make browsing pretty simple.

Basically the AE of France.

They're dtown, dav & avenue and now Sherway.

Cheers
SR

Loading shoes are made by Carlos Santos of Skoat fame. So yeah, I guess a good value.

Anyone knows any online shop I could order some tie box/organizer (preferably wooden)? Woodlore has one but doesn't ship to Canada.

Stopped by Brooks, and their C&J shoes are now 950 + tax. Terrible pricing.

I imagine that you can also give them a call to inquire about specific models and sizes. Most brands have some models on sale, in fact.

Few rain last styles including a brown 2 eyelet wingtip derby for 400.

I would rather go with Vass from JokB by a very wide margin.
