Black label will be under $900 CAD

Purple label will be under $2K CAD

We're talking SF prices.

These aren't from Harry's outlet.

Interest here, need a tux

Is any size available? Is there urgency? I've got my wedding in the fall, but my plan right now is to try on tuxedo's to see if it's really something I want to do or not.

Some urgency. If you can figure out your size, I might be able to help you. Picking up on Sunday maybe.

Thanks for replying, I can't make any commitments that quick.

I went to HR at Vaughan Mills today and found a RLBL navy blazer in 40T for $799. There was no sale on the item but the rep had put it aside for me and will let me know when the next promo will be.

They're clearing out all their JM Weston stock @ $599 for any pair. They also have some nice Samuelsohn suits at $899 if you're a 40R or bigger. Some shirts at $99 but nothing special and some decent ties at $99 too.

Decent selection and definitely worth checking out.

!!

When the hell did they start carrying JM Weston?! They discountinued Allen Edmonds and weren't much of anything shoe-wise last time I went in, which was about a year ago.

If you search the archives it seems they've had the Westons for a couple of years, and have discounted them before. I was near the store today and walked by but they had a sign saying you had to knock to be let in and I didn't think it was worth wasting the owner's time. From what I saw through the window they had some dark oxfords, about 5-6 shoes on display.

No idea about when they started carrying Weston but there are about 10 pairs. 8 UK is the smallest size.

Just took a couple pics of the ones I thought looked good there are oxfords and bluchers as well.

Does anyone know of any places in Canada that carry Ring Jacket, preferably in the Toronto area?

I got mine from Leatherfoot last year. Not sure if they still carry Ring.

Last I asked they said they won't bring them back, and with their new in house tailor it makes sense not to bring them back.

I really do wish I'd bought a few when they still had them in store, so much more complicated ordering online without knowing sizing.

The 3-4K+ stark difference in price is enough to carry both, and it's a nicely made brand not available anywhere else. I would be carrying both to appeal to more clients.
But it could be various reasons.
Go by the measurements and order online.

I agree that they could and I think that they also should, but that's what I was told last time I asked. I would definitely be a fan and supporter to bring back RJ.

@stanchri Nothing in Canada unfortunately. I went to Japan and checked out their flagship store. Wonderful stuff and reasonably priced. However, the sizing is pretty tricky for North Americans. I couldn't find anything in a Euro 52 that really fit, in most cases they came up pretty short. Not a knock on the brand at all, just the reality (as is the case with most clothing in Japan!). They have a reasonably priced MTM program, but I wasn't going to be around long enough to indulge.

While it has achieved somewhat legendary status around here these forums, I can see why LF stopped carrying it. It doesn't have the cache to really bring in swaths of the general public, while the sizing greatly limits who could wear it in the domestic market. I'm pretty thin by western standards and I still had issues slipping into the jackets (arms and chest in particular).

That being said hitting up the Maester tailor in Osaka will be on the list the next time around!
