Hello All.

It seems like I'm missing good stuff happening here in Toronto (sales, meetups, etc).

My thoughts are that we should have one centralized Toronto thread. For all sales and Toronto-centric conversation.

Spier and Mackay are having a petty great sale right now. 3 shirts for 100. Trousers for 59. Suits for 299.

Here is a shirt I paid $33 for and pants I got for $59. Everything is straight out of the box.
400

Nice mop buttons, stitching, and pattern matching:
400

Pattern matching at shoulders:
400

Stagioni Menswear (spelling?) on Toronto street is closing down. They had a small but nice collection of Italian-styled suits and sport coats for 299 to 599. I almost bought an outrageous double bested peak lapel suit in summer navy and white linen blend, completely unlined, made in Italy for 499 (originally 1700).

I hadn't heard of any of the brands that they were selling (which is weird, given how much time I've spent on SF). Lots of unstructured and unlined stuff, in varying weights. They are closed today and tomorrow but open Friday. The owner says everything is imported from Italy. Check tags to verify where the stuff is made. One thing was from Romania, but still looked great.

They also had a nice collection of ties. Some knits, interesting weaves, etc. All were too narrow for my taste, however. I'm not a narrow guy, so 3.25 is about as narrow as I go (unless it's a knit).

Big deals to be had at the Harry Rosen outlet.

Gaziano & Girling for RLPL (Garrick model) down to $275

Testoni black label at $275

Cucinelli (Cordovan?) down to $399

All SCs at 40% off

$150 kicker if you spend at least $750.

Meh tie selection. I guess the good ones were picked clean.

Decent suit selection.

Buy one trouser, get second one free.

Note that the SC promo can be stacked with the kicker.

Good finds. I'm away from the city for biz until the new year - did you know how long the sale will run until?

Hey guys, I can do a group proxy if I can get at least 3 people on board.

I saw sizes:

7.5uk/8

9uk/9.5

And possibly larger.

Chestnut and dark brown colours.

Some minimal shop wear.

Note that RL GG shoes are 'D' width.

Will charge small proxy fee + shipping.

I'm on Main Street in Brampton so the outlet is down the street. I've gotten some nice Samuelsohn (J.P. Tilford) SC's from the outlet for $500 or under, and have also added some trousers. I imagine I'll stop in on Saturday and hope that they don't, out of concern for my wallet, have anything that fits me. If they have the Blue Houndstooth Sammy in 44L though, at the sale price, I doubt I'd be able to pass it up.

Now seeing this thread. I was away on vacation but will not subscribe.

Anyone in the Markham area that needs alterations (basic stuff) such as pants hem, waist taken in or out etc. I know a lady that is across from P-mall that does it cheap and good. I've been going to her for years. However she is not a tailor who makes garments but as I said anything basic she can do
