Why does this combination make me feel like I am going to die? Does anybody else have the same reaction?

Are you trying to feel the void left by vaclava?

Coffee without food makes me feel nauseus in about 30 minutes. Tea doesn't (which I drink everyday)

Medically speaking, I'm sure it has to do more with the slow sinking feeling of an over hyped-turned losing football season for your alma mater than a couple of leaves mixed with hot water.

Try white tea. It's said to be far easier on the stomach.

Internal heat? nausea? sweating? blood pressure rise? My wife is sensitive to it as well. Are you drinking it or using an extract?

C'mon, ed. We know this "tea" is really about me and the "hot water" is the bond between us. Conne's the little white cup: only watching from the outside.

I have the exact opposite reaction. I can drink green tea on any empty stomach, but black teas -- Indian, Chinese, or Russian -- make me nauseous.

I can't drink any tea on empty stomach either due to nausea. One of my tea books confirms that tea should not be drunk on empty stomach. That's why in the mornings it's a double espresso (or two double espressos on particularly tough mornings).

Off on a tangent here, but why was/is what Larry Craig was doing, i.e. trolling public restrooms (or any public place, I guess) for anonymous gay sex known as the 'tearoom trade'?
