I do not need to work for feeling self worth. If people think like that, I understand why they smoke, drink ans take soo many type of drugs. yes, since most of them have not interesting job,  no responsability and are some sort of social clone like in Brazil
It's good to see you do not have to be a contributing member of society in order to have good self-esteem. It's also wonderful that your parents can express their pride in you every day.

You said the following statements. "Most working class people think boss is the best" "Boss is the top choice for stupid people" What are people supposed to think? I may not be working class, but I can at least appreciate their contributution to our economy and treat them with respect.
Platon is a man Man are stupid Platon is stupid? By working class if you want to say, workers, little employee, postamen, taxi drivers.... Yes I guess most of them are stupid (or lazy) people. It is not treating them with no respect by telling the truth about their brain fonctions. I thought one moment you were talking about people working in general.

Here we are. You are this kind of guy, driver by shame and guilty. I let you with your shame. Ignorance is for me the only shame and you seem to be a champion. By luck for you,  your only shame is not to work.
You misunderstand.  I find great pride in what I do.  *You*, on the other hand, should be consumed by self-loathing and shame for being a malignant cancer on society.   As for being ignorant, I haven't been called ignorant for a long time, and am rather amused.  I am not Leonard Logsdail, but I have not doubt that my (formal and informal) education about style and fashion is much higher than yours.  My education would be recognized anywhere as being world class, and my general intelligence has not seriously been called into question (except for by my supervisor once while he was editing one of my manuscripts ) for a long time.
Like aid is cancer of gay people?

No. More like Government Aid for Lazy People who can work but choose not to cause its easier not to is the Cancer on the Country as a whole. Its really not a hard concept if you would keep an open mind to it. You dont have to be Plato for this one. JJF

I was under the assumption that his additional income (or lack there of) was received from his parents, since he lived with them, if he receives it from the government, and is receiving such a large stipend that an educated person could only earn 10-15% more... than I think France needs to hire some new economists.
This is crisis in France. Very hard to find a well paid job for 3 years, almost in finance. Many unemployed. If I do my last job today, I will have 25% less of my last salary of 2001.

While I wouldn't disagree with the statement that many French workers are lazy (actually I get this vibe from many Europeans, but I have ambivalent feelings about the general attitude towards holidays, on one hand, I can understand the value of leisure, but on the other I think even Americans don't generally work hard enough, and Europeans critizicize our work habits as spending your entire life working), I think generally describing 60-70% of your population as stupid and lazy is fairly elitist, and actually pretty funny in your situation, kinda like saying "I don't work and get money and shelter from my parents, look at all these dumbasses who actually work for a living." I guess the French are as charming as they say.

You recieve what you paid when you worked.... This is the system. State is not my company. I look at my interest, not state's one. You should know what it is in US.... You have right, Religion and Work . The only true value in our world. My reasons to live . Are you a capitalist ? If you are, you look at your own interest. My own short term economic interest is to stay at home and be paid by state for the moment. Why is it so hard to enter in your brains?

I was staying out of this whole thing and just sitting back reading it, but then I saw this and I have to say, this is a pretty offensive statement. Who is to say that just because someone chooses a career that isnt doctor, lawyer, etc that they are stupid. What is stupid is that statement. And I don't know what you mean by "little employee" but in many corporations, and in many businesses in general, the "little employees" are some of the most important ones, because without them nothing would happen. Would Brioni (or Boss) be able to make their suits without the "little employees"? I think not, and just because they chose that job does not make them stupid. Some of the most intelligent people I know were working class people who, for whatever reason, happened to like manual labor and became farmers, or delivery men, or post office employees. So just becuase you think you are better than working class people DOES NOT make them stupid.

How long does this last for? In the US there is also unemployment that will pay about 85% of what you earned, but it lasts for six months and is supposed to be money that you get WHILE YOU LOOK FOR A JOB. According to you, you haven't worked since 2001... so you can collect unemployment for THREE YEARS? WTF.

People who work 35 hours for 30% less than me are not stupid up to you? How can you explain they work for pinuts?

2 years There is NO job, that's the problem. How can they check if 3 billions of people are looking for a job?

i've discovered the hidden logic, the method behind the madness. ernest is doing his part to bankrupt france's economic system, forcing them to institute a new system based on laissez-faire capitalism. he is a true revolutionary. go ernest. one man CAN make a difference. /andrew - highly amused this morning

Actually in the US the cap is 50% of your previous income, not 85% and in many cases its not even 50% as there is a cap of $ one can receive. As you mentioned its only for 6 months. The point is to help you get by while you get new employment in your STATE. Not to float you while you sleep till 12PM after partying all night cause you got it made. JJF

Impressive. At last check France had a population of about 60 Million, yet somehow 3 Billion are showing up on the unemployment lines... And I thought the US had a problem with False Identities. JJF
