Thomas Riemer Gloves

Thread Starter
Just showing off some new Thomas Riemer gloves that I ordered at the trunk show @Leffot. Great guy who knows leather, sizing, and combinations of materials to get fit and feel spot on. The stitching seems very strong and springy. Other popular gloves makers that I have tried the stitching on the back of the hand (points) has broken open and the leather got poor looking very quickly. From others that I know who own Riemer gloves and have for some time say they are still wearing their gloves after many years.

I don't know whether these would be "custom", or "bespoke" or "MTM" or whatever, but the length of the fingers were extended because I have sloth like fingers apparently. They are peccary with rabbit fur lining. I know, I know, Mafoofan already reprimanded me for getting lined peccary gloves as they don't fit like a second skin and look "sleek" or whatever, but I can honestly say these things are insanely comfortable, warm, soft, elastic, and probably a bit too luxurious for a jerk like myself. Do you have any Thomas Riemer gloves? If so show them here!

Thomas Riemer has just been confirmed for our upcoming London trunk show.

If you'd like to check out his luxurious gloves and commission something, please stop by the Belgraves Hotel in Knightsbridge, he'll be there on all 3 days, 6th, 7th and 8th of September.

Shaya, any photos of your TR custom gloves from the trunk show? Can we do custom orders remotely?

Met Thomas Reimer on Saturday during a Trunk Show at Brogues Geneva; what a pleasant chap and definitely passionate about his art !!

Ordered a beautiful pair of navy blue gloves in reindeer with a purple cashmere lining for Jan/Feb delivery and will post when they arrive.

I have a pair of unlined peccary gloves in camel with navy trim, and will most likely pick up a navy and grey pair soon.  Great gloves, really great.

Here's a quick shot of my Thomas Riemer doeskin "Austrian general's gloves" from Exquisite Trimmings.  They pair well with casentino for blustery winter days.

Fit's close to perfect, actually; I think I'm just resting my hand at an odd angle.  Here's how the glove compares to my hand:
