Renovating a new apartment!

Hi Guys, I am a proud owner of a new apartment! and have contracted someone to bust some walls down and a designer to build some furniture for me. Do you guys have any websites you frequent with ideas I could glean from? My Apartment is a typical small HK apartment (~540 sq ft net) I've been to apartment therapy so far, and previously looked at their smallest apartment design award Any ideas would help loads!! Thanks

Congrats on your new home. I haven't found any real good interior design sites, so my suggestion is to get some old fashioned magazines. There are loads of those, covering most styles.

How is the space organized? I visited some new luxury condos around that size, which I decided were just too small for the asking, but they were very well layed out. When your space is small, the layout is more important than anything else. If you're knocking down all the walls, then behind your bed, you might put a half-wall with a bookshelf or something. You could do like SoCal and have an elevated bed with a small work desk underneath. Or, do a kitchen island that you can eat at so you don't need a separate dinner table and it also increases the amout of room you have to do stuff. Try and get dual function out of each square foot.
