The aim of this week's challenge is to integrate something from another era into your fit - the era is your choice, whether it be the 1930's, the 50's, the 70's - whatever. Whatever detailing harks back to another era, whether it be a waistcoat, a collar pin, a tab-collared shirt, braces, or balmoral boots, add it to the mix of your usual attire, and see what happens. If you have the time and the inclination, with your posting, point out the detail, and explain why you like it.

To clarify, the item or items need not actually be vintage (though extra credit if so), but should harken back to an earlier era.

To be successful, this is probably not the week to suddenly go minimalist :) .

Fits need to be from this week, though not necessarily Friday, and voting will be multiple choice.

Best of luck, gentlemen, and may the best man win.

My vintage item is my precious silk pocket square that was bought sometime in WW1-time by the grandmother of one of my dear friends. Not sure if it originates from Asia or Italy. The grandmother is unfortunately not here to tell.
Worn with a grenadine tie from ET and a wool/mohair jacket from Caruso.

Seriously. If it doesn't have at least many years on its shoulders, I don't even want to see it in this thread.

I totally forgot. I have an early 60's jacket, Savile Row. Can't quite remember the name of the firm. Purchased it as more of a museum piece, though it fits well enough.

Glad I'll be able to participate.
