The Suits of Spectre (2015), the latest Bond film - Page 11

Yes they appear to be fuller fitting than Skyfall's suits but I stand with my opinion on his topcoat.

Too much suppression and it results in a very feminine silhouette.

Yeah, that top coat is a little much. The suits were way too tight in Skyfall and it looks like Spectre is continuing the trend. Casino Royale and QoS is when DC's suits looked the best.

I think he'd look better with a bit more of a shoulder as well. The effect is more like a frock coat if you over tailor a chesterfield.

I just thought the whole look is very feminine. The QoS "Kazan" coat was basically perfect.

Saw the film a few days ago and from what I remember I liked his sportscoat(s?) more than his suits. Wasn't paying too much attention to the clothes though.

@Crat how would you rank the movie vs. the other Craig movies?
Maybe Skyfall was a better film (more realistic) but to me Spectre was more 'Bond'. More jokes and similarities to the old bonds.
Regarding the clothes, there was a brown SC I liked. Wider lapels than the suits. Think it was Bond who was wearing it but it could have been M.

I think I read somewhere that Craig's suits were made from a stretchy fabric so he can perform the action sequences looking effortlessly cool.

I finally saw Spectre last night and I know the brown SC you mean. Bond wore it in the desert scenes. It was linen and fit very nicely.

I don't mind too much the snug fit of the main suit, but the center vent spoils it. I also rather liked the overcoats. My girlfriend liked the blouson Bond wears in the climatic scenes, so I've got to find one like it!
