Boxers, boxer briefs, or briefs? - Page 3

I wear any and all. If I wear khakis without a tucked in shirt I always wear boxers. Most of the time I wear boxer briefs. I have them from CK, underamour, polo, and several other companies. The underarmour are probably actually the best quality

I feel like I'm on the verge of reaching a decision. Its looking like I'm going to get one of the calvin klein boxer briefs (the 365 or the sports one). But before I do that I have one question...

This is an honest question, and I'm not trying to be rude..

If I were to get some trunks as opposed to boxer briefs, then would I just look ridiculous/gay to whatever dorm people see me in them? Again, I'm serious, and I'm wondering about the general impression (I know I could will myself to wear them, if I like them, no matter what anyone else thought.. but in this case, I'm flexible and willing to bend to the societal norm).

Here are the trunks I noticed:

I'm not sure I understand the point of boxer briefs. If you're going to wear something skin-tight, why wear something that has extra material gripping your thighs? You might as well wear bicycle shorts.

well i find trunks personally uncomfortable... they ride too much up my thighs and its kinda sucky.

I agree. I don't see any advantage to boxer-briefs over briefs, disregarding the stigma that briefs carry. Maybe someone can enlighten us as to why they prefer boxer-briefs over briefs.

I wear the under armour boxer briefs. They don't ride up at all and they keep their shape really well (they aren't made out of cotton). The only downside is that they are over $20 a pair...

get the trunks
i mostly wear trunk style now and find it more comfortable than boxer briefs and they don't ride up at all like boxer briefs do

Trunks for me. I've had many issues with boxers and boxer-briefs riding up. Could be the boxers briefs that I've worn though so it really is on a person to person basis.

SO = she loves them on me, but I have a good enough body to rock them like an underwear model

Just be comfortable with yourself and don't worry about what others are thinking. If the most you're worried about is looking foolish in a pair of underwear then that's the least of your worries at school.

It might just be me or , but where the material ends does it for me. I tend to be active and sweat a bit so when I wear briefs the material gets wet and clumps in all kinds of non-fun ways in the crotch area. I also like the way trunks comparatively to briefs.

I wear Uniqlo boxer briefs, low rise slim cut ones, they are slim enough that they dont feel too loose (like boxers) and not overly tight (like briefs) also they are lower cut so they dont bunch up or show above my waistline. Also Hanes BB are the worst on the market. Completely wrong design. They are made to be as loose as boxers in the junk/crotch area and tighter than hell on your thighs. So your dick and sack still hang like boxers but they are restrictive and uncomfortable like briefs.

Men's trunks turned up on the market at about the same time boxer briefs made their debut. The main difference between them is that men's trunks tend to have the same tight fit, but they are more square in design, with shorter legs. Trunks have become extremely popular among sporty men, for wearing under their relaxed workout pant, and for men who like wearing tighter jeans because the leg length is short enough that it doesn't make already tight jeans into impossibly tight jeans.
