Since there are no Leisure handsewn mocs available in my size, I can sit back and chuckle at all you guys and this thread with my wallet safely in my pocket. It is fun

A junior member just posted this in the buy and sell forum. Teamshoeseaport.com is selling deeply discounted Aldens, almost the entire range, including shell longwings. anyways, order with complete confidence. I got a pair of the Alden longwings from them and they arrived perfectly with no problems. Amazing price.

Have 'em, love 'em, in no. 8. I let them all hang out in their glory in odd trousers with slim openings.

It helps to have small feet with them, though...they are on the prodigious side in double-digit sizes, and I think that they are harder to pull off.

Those longwings in burgandy are calling to me and they have them in my size. I even went to the Alden store in NY to try them on and check my size. I don't really "Need" them right now and I am trying to resist. If I could find the Indy boot at that kind of discount I'd definitely be placing an order immediately.

I asked the question in my other post, but thought it would be appropriate here.

I recently received my Shell Cordovan in #8, unfortunately they didn't have my size (9.5 E) that I was looking for on the ShoeTeamsport website.

Anyway, I have a wide foot but what seems to be making things more difficult is the fact that I have very little arch. (A lot of Native Americans don't) So I tried these once I received them, and this was the size suggested by an Alden rep who happened to be at a haberdasher in Portland on the day I stopped in. He did mention they run a little larger but thought these would be fine. They fit alright on the front part of my foot, but after the ball of my foot they are a little snug. Will these stretch, even a little bit ? I don't think I can go up to a 10 E cause they are already a little llong. Although they seem much longer than the 9 3E Straight Tip Blucher's that I ordered and now have to send back cause they are too small.

Any advise on whether I need to send back the Longwings .

His price on black AE Park Avenues, 209 or something, is very good too if you happen to be a 8.5D or 12E.

Who are these people and how are they selling Alden's so cheap?

Just to wrap up this thread and give some physical proof that teamshoesport ships, here are my 3 pair. I think these all fit true, though the 10E captoe boot is probably a little too big for me. I can tell you this, if they have your exact size, in a shoe you wanted already? buy it. With the escalating demand for cordovan lately, who knows when you can get this at a discount again. Even new-in-box on ebay goes for $300 plus, and think of the time you will waste waiting for your size to appear. Free shipping and no tax, I cannot complain.
