Favorite Clash Song - Page 5

I have know idea of where to start when it comes to the Clash. IMO they have to be one of the best groups ever. The transistion that you can hear coming out through the albums span true moments in time. It is near impossible to select just one song.

I've always liked the whole London Calling album and can say that every song on it should be on the list.

Wrong 'em Boyo I guess is one of my favs from it. Though Spanish Bombs and Lost in the Supermarket are beyond good aswell.

Others would have to be such as Career Opportunities and Safe European Home, bt really its near everything they did.

Though I am far from young enough to have ever been to a show, I can recall my Dad fondly telling me about the "ruckus" that they would cause. He really liked Ivan meets GiJoe(think thats the title) though I never thought it was as good as others.

Spanish Bombs for the reference to Lorca and the SCW
Guns of Brixton and English Civil War for childish dreams of streetfighting the good fight
Clash City Rockers and London Calling for getting me through cram-sessions for my uni entrance exams
Bankrobber for giving the material for Chumbawamba to cover acapela.
