Once again, nearly impossible. Another group that is among the greatest. London Calling, Straight to Hell, Train in Vain, and on and on. I have an anthology collection that is one of the best anthologies ever and can truly say I like every single song. Like the Stones, my fave happens to be the particular Clash song I'm listening to at the moment.

I wonder why they never get as much love as the rest of the groups which I would consider "the greatest". I know that they were the first group that I ever really got into and agree with you that it is difficult, especially in the first three albums, to find a bad song.

favorite song is probably The Call Up.

My nieces accuse me of being a curmudgeon and they're probably right.
When I hear a current pop or hip hop song where the hook is lifted from an 70's or 80's song and lame vocals are laid down over it, I just sneer at them.

If I could wipe my mind clean of 15 years of classic rock radio and the soundtrack of every other movie located in the UK, London Calling. Otherwise, Clampdown or Death Or Glory.

I submit The Card Cheat as a darkhorse. Kinda rocks...
