Here are a few pics of mine. Size 34x32 fit is pretty much true to size ( for reference 34 in Sugar canes - a bit big, 34 in earnest sewn about the same, 34 in edwin - a bit big) Bought when they first came out, washed when dirty/stretched out. Probably going into the wash next week. Worn 2-3 times a week, mostly after work and on the weekend.

i really, really wanted to buy these, but noticed a huge difference in the sizing between the 29s, where the legs were perfect but the waist was too small, and the 30s, which were just entirely too big.

How tight was the waist on the 29? They should stretch a fair amount.

the 29 was not happening. like an inch and a half of room between the top button and the button hole, i could button the first two buttons fine, but it was obvious as i got closer to the waist that it wasn't gonna happen, but the legs of the jeans fit awesome. i was talking to jeff and cristian about possible stretching and they advised against buying the waist that tight.

A little off topic but... Godmother, I heard you designed for the original RRL, is that true?

Please critique fit as I'm kind of on the edge with these. They are a bit tight but so were my apcs initially. What do you guys think about the length? Yes I am 6'3 and <160 lbs. Also please ignore the fact that I couldn't make the photo worse if I tried.

They are too short for me, maybe not some of the other folks around here.

At that inseam length, I'd do a getsmart, turning up the hems to a 1.5 inch cuff or so to show off some sock. Top it off with a nice laceup/boot of course.

GetSmart does that well, but IMO that's a tough look to pull off for a tall guy.

It's hard to tell but as they stretch a bit at the waist, you can sag them down a little. Then again as they first break in the honeycombs will take up some of the length too. They might be okay especially if you reserve them to wear with boots or shoes that "promote a break" rather than lowtop chucks/vans/etc.
