5EP x SF jean post pics - Page 36

I'll try and give these a 5 day run this week. I have no doubts they will fade beautifully if worn more often.

Sorry to hijack this thread but was wandering if anyone knows when Revolve Clothing is getting in their stock of 5EP, it was originally scheduled to arrive on Feb 28, but Revolve has no idea when they are getting them in.

Just got mine today. What do you guys think of the fit? And about how much will these stretch?

Solid fit, I like it. They'll stretch a bit, but not drastically, unless they're particularly tight.

I just soaked mine to help get the fit back to where it was :P I went up one size because I'd afraid they'd be too slim.

Nice fit guys. Rye did you size up? have they stretched out that much? Ok, I'm rewarding myself, and am going to splurge and get a pair. I want them slim. Slimmer than my other jeans. Basically I want a fit like amlai up there, but am certainly not as tall as him, should I still get my true to size? or go down one? I'm like a 28/29 in samurai, 28 in apc i guess, been so long since i had a pair...etc. Lastly are these a felled inseam? as that might be a dealbreaker for me if they are. HELP ME HELP MYSELF!

I think Rye and I played off the advice of staying TTS when we both really regret it now. The problem is that the smaller you go in waist size, the different the fit is. 30 and under and the 5ep's are a slim to skinny jean; 30+ and they're just a slim jean. My 5eps definitely have stretched out as much as Rye's and look about the same. So you might want to stick to your actual size.

I'd get a 29 if you want a slim fit, assuming your trouser size is 30. I got my true size and I'd say my fit is somewhere in between the two pics you quoted.

so mauro, any 29's kicking about? i might just get the 30's considering they look pretty much perfect on sauce, and going by whodini's advice......that should be good enough

felled inseam? yes, no?

FYI, I'm only 5' 8", so I'm not that tall... assuming you're not significantly shorter, I think you can get away with stacking them. What's amusing about all of this is that I was hoping for the other fit... slim, not skinny.

Mauro had 4 pairs of 29's back on 2/27, so I'd guess he still does. I have a pair of 30's in addition to the 29's you see me wearing there. I do not find the thigh and leg areas to be substantially larger than in the 29s. However, this is of course in comparison to my 29's post-stretch. What is noticeably larger is of course the top block.

Yes.

This sizing up stuff was a cruel joke, and I don't know who to blame.
I sized up to a 31, and they really wouldn't have fit me if I hadn't. Really, the jean is a perfect fit for me, since I have naturally skinny calves and comparatively big haunches. I haven't heard of anyone sizing down (of course, this all depends on the other jeans they're comparing them to, I suppose.)

I've had mine since December, and I'd say they've probably gotten less than a month of proper wear. At first they were slightly snug, and now they're slightly... well... they're loose enough that I could shove my hand down the back of my pants if I need to scratch my ass. They're still too stiff to sag like my other jeans, so it's hard to form a comparison. I'd say they could be a smidgen tighter, but certainly not a full size tighter.

(I'd post pictures iff'n I were able to, but that's not really possible right now.)

My 101zs are starting to fade nicely, and I'm trying to fade them as much as possible so they can be my summer jean. I'm not sure I'll be wearing the 5EPs a whole lot this summer but that remains to be seen.

I will give an updated list. Do you guys realize I don't even have a pair of these jeans

I luckily got the same size as my LDB's (31) and although they were ridiculously tight in the waist at first (I actually struggled to close the second highest button), they were perfect in the thighs etc when they were new. Now they're perfectly comfortable in the waist and spot on everywhere else. Terrific jean!
