Label Under Construction – "Talking Selvage" Washi J-Pant – Black, sz 48

Includes shipping w/in USA. Int'l + 25 (Registered) or + 50 (EMS)
__

Bought NWOT from re.porter, tried on once / never worn

These pants were a key piece of the 2010 Signals Collection in which Luca incorporated morse code in various forms into the garments. In this particular case, the morse code has been put onto the garment through laser burns running the length of the twisting seams down the leg. Hence the name: Talking Selvage.

However, the true stand out quality of this pant is the material. 100% Washi and 100% Cotton (partial lining). Washi is a Japanese paper-based material which is quite stiff and dense, yet at the same time light-weight. It feels definitely stiffer than cotton, will mold to the wearer's physique, and creates a perfect stacking effect. Feeling this material is quite amazing actually...

Since washi is produced and sourced in Japan, all washi pieces go hand in hand with a hefty price tag (original retail was ~ $1500).

Measurements:

Waist 41cm
Rise 27cm
Thigh 29cm
Inseam 89cm
Hem 19cm

What would you think about trading for the Boris Bidjan Saberi pants that I have posted?
