I'm pretty sure that Erdogan has a switch installed in his office for turning Twitter off. Probably got the technology from Iran.

Turkey is now allowing US missions from Turkey and apparently just sent 4 of their own F16s to bomb ISIS. This is a legitimately big development.

Old but first time ive heard it

I hope the turkey thing is a sign of a decision finally made to stop the sunni support for radical groups. And not an excuse to justify some kind of intrusion into syria to occupy their coveted aleppo

I doubt it but time will tell.

Its just common sense . There is no way a bunch of rag tag militias could open up fronts in multiple countries unless they were backed up by influential powerful players.

Welp, looks like Turkey has renewed the armed conflict with the PKK. Turkey is not going to be a fun place to be tomorrow.

For anyone following this thread who may be unsure... Mullah Omar is 99.999% not dead.

I don't believe it.

In other news, Nusra arrested 18 US trained rebels upon entering Syria. Figure they got at least 4 m2s, mortars, and other small munitions from them.

And now Haqqani has been dead for a year??

That's quite a power vacuum that ISIS is going to look to exploit. Could be really bad for Afghanistan.

I'm conflicted over Abu Muhammad al-Hollandi getting shot in the face.

On one hand, fuck him and AQ. But... he did have some good content.

A guy who used to fight at my gym went to Syria to join ISIS and got deaded. First report was by a drone, but then ISIS said they caught him trying to escape. He wrote on his facebook that it wasn't what he expected. Not getting to murder and rape enough, I guess? He seemed nice in person, but fuck him.
