"However, Weiss and Hassan are just plain wrong about what they think are the origins of ISIS."

Just checking in. I'm assuming that people in the middle east are still blowing each other up, driving gold-plated Bentleys, and talking about virgins and stuff. If that has changed, please let me know.

A Saudi prince has actually given Bentleys to the pilots who participated in blowing Yemenis up during Operation Decisive Storm.

Not sure what your criteria for change is but perhaps a sex shop in Mecca counts ?

FSA and YPG/J have begun their operation to take Sarrin backed by US air power. It'll be interesting when the full details of YPG/US cooperation come to light. But apparently there are 50 ISIS snipers completely cut off in the grain silos. Sucks to suck.

Where are the neocons who creamed their pants over the Bayji video going to be when another city is taken from ISIS?

Awesome Q&A session. A guy with that much intel experience is a huge asset not to be wasted. I may donate to TAPSTRI.

Jordan is going to request permission from the UN to establish a safe-zone in southeastern Syria. Abdullah I is out there somewhere eagerly awaiting the return of Hashemites in Syria.

Awesome, we killed two hostages! Well done.

EDIT - Look, I'm not suggesting we had a duty to go in and save him, fucking dummies who travel to places WHERE THEY ARE KNOWN FOR BEHEADING may not rise to the level of full protection of the might of the country. But to fucking kill him in a bullshit war we can't possibly win that costs fucking trillions of dollars is not acceptable either.

Fucking assholes, the lot of them. foo.gif

DOUBLE EDIT -

HA! We also apparently killed two American Al Qaeda operatives. Well done, US government. You incompetent fucking assholes.

TRIPLE EDIT - It's ok, Obama didn't sign off on it. So I assume some underling will be fired and charged with murder, yes?

QUADRUPLE EDIT - No worries guys, it's "under review." Everything will be fine.

Shit happens. What is interesting about Gadhan, besides that he was a Jewish American jihadist, is that this happened in January and it was nowhere on jihadi networks.

"Shit happens." So let's go start some shit.

Can we start shit in Florida? I'd have no problem with indiscriminate bombing of the Ef El A, provided FLMM and Rambo are allowed to leave first.

No. Barrel bombs are indiscriminate. JDAMS are not.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
