Yeah, Silvan. It's a small city north of Batman. It's been under curfew for 8 days now. This is the AKP not "sacrificing it's 'struggle against terrorism' for the Kurdish peace process."

You bet your ass there is. Interesting city too. It was basically entirely Kurdish until they found oil and then came the Turks. Diyarbakir (Kurdish Amed) and Batman (Kurdish Elih) are the two biggest largely Kurdish cities in Turkey.

That's not the point. Russia is either unwilling or unable to protect the sovereignty of Damascus's airspace. I imagine it's both.
