ethan, Ahrar Sham operates with Al Qaeda in the same joint army, they even did joint operations with isis before falling out, i don't see what kind of point the distinction would make relative to Russia striking them down.

They were also founded by one alqaeda member and another with alqaeda ties.

The difference in Syria may not be much but the difference for the US is huge. Ahrar is not a pan-global jihadi movement.

Neither were the Taliban. That didnt mean the US or americans got butthurt when they were bombing them along with alqaeda

Different situations and you know that. But you support the number 1 killer of civilians in Syria so what's the point in arguing over Russia.

I'm with Alan Iraq, Libya and Egypt exp show that when you make a vacuum the situation the situation is even worse than before. And 50% of these rebels deserve nothing more or less than swift death from bombs.

Check it out, one of the mythical Hellfire equipped Cessnas of the Lebanese Army flying over Syria.

looks like screeenshot from Airwolf hahaha
those missiles are probably worth more than the plane itself
post #1344 of 2744
Well Lebanon is banned by a US/israeli decision from owning any real aircraft/air defense. Cant have anything that threatens the israeli army.

There was a deal with Russia to get some migs a few years back and wikileaks is full of transcripts of how the ambassador made it fail, with the help of the more than willing corrupt politicians.

In the nahr el bared battle against islamic terrorists, the lebanese army were actually dropping bombs by hands from helicopters and planes(not sure) using homemade pipes because the deal with the states back then prevented those helis from having missile or whatever ability.

Word is a fleet of A-10s have arrived in Turkey no doubt to aid in the assault on Raqqa.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTT.

The assholes who remember them from Iraq are probably not too pleased to hear this.

I've always liked how the designers of the A-10 had a really cool gun and decided to turn it into a plane.

Btw for day to day updates on the bombings one should really look for non western sources. Russia has bombed the shit out of isis, there was even a semi large wave of leaving raqqa towards mosul.

And it has destroyed inportant missile caches that they had taken from the saa and bombed numerous stashes and headquarters and just today the syrian army had a very violent clash with isis in tal sabeen and retook the town.

Russia also bombed them in palmyra and rif homs.

The places where the other terrorists are on the fronts against the SAA and isis isnt in direct front with the SAA the bombings have naturally focused on the direct front in anticipation of the ground assault by the SAA

And the hashb shaabi is retaking biji from isis and all statements indicate that the joint russia iran syria iraq operation room is leading to direct improvements and results including the strike against the isis convoy

Every other month il hashd ish shaabi says they've retaken Beyji just for daish to regroup and take it right back.

I would not trust "non-western" news sources on what Russia is doing. Just like you don't trust Daily Sabah for your Turkey news.
