Ayatollah Khamenei is in full on troll mode for the holiday today... I love that he trolls the US on a platform his own people aren't allowed to use.

Many years have passed... but discrimination still prevails in the U.S. #BlackLivesMatter #MLK #MLKDay

Despite its abundant wealth, Capitalism is unable to establish #SocialJustice. Recent protests of blacks in US clearly proves this fact.#MLK

+50M blacks are deprived of human rights in the US. They are trampled by US system just for having dark skins. #BlackLivesMatter #MLK 5/6/92

You can start protesting in Brooklyn Orthodox neigbourhoods. I think Orthodox Jews in US have been getting free pass to subjugate their women long enough.

My God, have you ever met a Jewish woman?

But seriously, I've never met any orthodox Jews, but I've met hundreds of Jews in my life and none have subjugated women. I can't say the same for the hundreds of Muslims I've met, of which less than 5 had non-subjugated partners, though admittedly the Sunni Arabs were far worse about it than the Shiites or South-East Asians. While you can compare orthodox Jews to Muslims in anachronistic conservatism, one is a small minority of a minority while the other is the majority of a world-wide majority

Over the weekend the regime opened up a new front in Hasakeh attacking the YPG. This highlights a fundamental flaw in how the US is approaching Syria. ISIS attacks the YPG in Kobane and we come to their aid, the regime attacks the YPG in Hasakeh and we do nothing.

Lots of bullshit praise of the late King Abdullah going on. Let's not forget that 4 of his daughters have been under strict house arrest for 13 years for their liberal views.

There are rumors flying around about two princesses under palace arrest, supposedly their mother has something to do with it...all sounds like Saudi drama and best left to the family to deal with.

There was an heir-apparent who passed recently I can't recall his name (too many) who was considered the most sane potential successor and was really by most standards a great candidate. I don't think it was Sultan though, who died in 2011...

People like to call some Sauds "relatively" moderate, that is to say morally repugnant to most Westerners.

The Wahabi hate-machine will stay in full force.

As far as I understood he was very different from the rest. Now how that translates to perception from a different cultural context ...
