I don't think "formal" and EG works. What use do you look for? If more of a traditional business setting (Especially with clients) call NMWA or Gary to hook you up.

small state, engineering job, no one cares what you dress like as you're outside most of the time, need something that blends in, a tailored suitsupply suit stands out way more than a jcpenny blazer/dockers, just want something relaxed and comfortable. If I eventually need a corporate suit I'll go the usual route.

Got it - then just get what you like the most in terms of jackets, pants - matching or not. I thought that the B2B/ B1P stuff from last season appeared a bit more "formal" in the solid colors.

Otherwise I would check out any tropical wool combination if you are looking for light weight fabric.

Thanks, Ben. Damn them those MAC (Kidding ... love the store ...). Clue me in: Dogpatch = Hayes Valley store? That's the one I usually go to.

Hope some LA retailers went for the prints and crazy stuff.

Mike

The Dogpatch is a neighborhood in San Francisco that has been on the rise for some time now. MAC opened a second shop at Minnesota and 22nd (little yellow house). Some great restaurants nearby. I found it from stopping in at Nice Collective's home office/sample sales. They usually have quite a selection of EG spanning 4-5 seasons.

Anyone know if there are any EG retailers in Chicago that stock a decent amount of each seasons release? If not a good online retailer that may have these pieces in stock.

Really trying to land these 3 pieces all in one shot.

Olive French Twill Huntsman Pant, size 32
White 100s 2 Ply Broodcloth Tob Collar Shirt or other white EG dress shirt, Size M
Dark Navy Ripstop Enfield Jacket, Size M

yeah, cinch pant hems used to be around 7"-7.25" a few seasons back, 6.75" still works for me, just have to get the length right

also, will I ever see a tropical wool shopcoat or chesterfield, that would be awesome!

In my opinion this seasons Cinch Pants are way to short. Even for cropped pants less than 30 inch inner leg length is not enough for waist size 30 or even 32!

Lol, speak for yourself. At 5'7" (32 waist) the length sounds about perfect for me. I finally wouldn't even have to cuff or hem.

Any idea what Threads and Needles got in? May need to stop by this week. Thanks.

They received a few short sleeves stuff. A pop over shirt in a red/blue stripe, a camp shirt in the floral print (shown in the pic), a couple of Bakers blazers.

@agvs Ok, compared to the last seasons pants seem shorter. I guess length wise its a good season for you and a bad one for me :)
