@Mbaum, I did get the USN pants. Looking forward to wearing them.

I asked NNY to pick out a pair of pants they thought would work after I suggested that I liked the chambray.

Their pick (and pic)

The fatigues in blue dungaree. So I'll have that on its way to me tomorrow.

And below with the chambray.

Thanks for all the help, guys.

Edit: happy that my 1,000th and 1001 post ended up in this thread (or threat, as Mike calls it). Good times.

I like both those combos. ****, now I am getting into the season. Maybe because it is pushing high 70's in LA? And I really want to keep wearing the winter wool ...

I never thought about asking NNY for fashion advice. Damn. That's next level.

I will say I'm patting myself on the back a little that the chambray (as opposed to the dungaree) looks good and NNY endorses it.

I gotta say that the two Nepenthes suggestions scream eluther swag (especially the one with chambray pants). Alex/ eluther EG summer fit challenge? It's on ...

@AlexanderTG both combos look good but the second one looks the best.

NNY had suggested that the dungaree cloth "has a nice weight and would go well with many other pieces."

But I'm thinking hot weather fit and so I think I will go with the lighter fabric (the chambray) and maybe pick up the dungaree in the future.

As for a summer fit challenge, I think Eluther has an edge in both temperature and breadth of collection. But I'll be surely posting sometime after the 2' of snow is melted. Oh yes I will. :)

@AlexanderTG – I live up in WA now, so I'm learning how to layer. And while I have more EG, you have them styling your fits. That's like taking the padding out of your gloves.

@penanceroyaltea – Yeah, but that's a longsleeve, man. (Though I admit I wish I'd pick it up...)

Gah, I'm much more of a fan of longsleeves than short sleeves though, and with the Camp Shirt, Popover BD, Chauncey Shirt, Copley Shirt, they're all about the short sleeves this year. And much of the long sleeves are band collared - I would love the fabrics offered in the Copley Shirt and Band Collared Long Shirt in a 19th Century BD instead. The color palette on those vertical stripes rules. Who knows, they might be out there - any list of all the 19th Century BDs this season? (@Drinkwaters ?)

Navy/Wht Stripe, Contrast Collar/Cuff: $225

Coverall Jacket:

Navy Twill: $430 (tempted to hide the medium on this one for myself. my favorite fabric of the season)

Navy Twill: $205
Khaki Twill: $205
Olive Ripstop: $205

For the most part, we have everything in sizes S-XL, pants 30-36. I'm Happy to answer any questions here or via PM.

Gotta love PDG. I'll be driving up from NBPT Next week.
I wish I had more of a buffer zone. It's dangerous to live this close to my favorite store in New England (sorry Boston).

I feel for you.

I'm an hour from PDG and a half hour from Drinkwaters. I travel to both cities regularly for work. I've been surprisingly lucky with XL items on sale at both spots.

I'm thinking chambray work shirt from SS15.

I figure we all know how the workshirt looks so here's a closer look at the texture. I imagine after looking at this you might be sold more towards this than the chambray.

I'll be helping my girlfriend turn our living room into a succulent jungle tomorrow (day off), but the guys will be here to show you whats up.
