My preference is for the Brian Ferry era of Roxy Music. (The earlier Brian Eno era group isn't the same for my tastes.) My favorites are his versions of The Platters'
Smoke Gets in Your Eyes or John Lennon's
Jealous Guy.
We saw Brian Ferry solo in St. Petersburg (not Florida!) in October of 2000. When he sang Dylan's
A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall, it brought down the (opera) house.
Love is the Drug takes up where Van Morrison's
Wild Nights leaves off.
Now the Spring is turning
Your face to mine
I can hear your laughter
I can see your smile
