How fragile are Breguet watches?

We all know Rolex make very resistant watches, for example, while Patek are delicate and not suitable for everyday use, but how fragile are Breguet watches exactly?

I'm looking for both a Classique and a Type XX, and I wonder if I'll have to deal with expensive repairs every time I'll bang them on a wall or something.

To assert that Patek are delicate is, in my experience, incorrect. I have a PP automatic (3802/200) that has provided exceptional service for 20 years, only requiring cleaning/overhaul twice during that period, the second time after I dropped it onto concrete and the center second hand came off. The timekeeping performance has been superb.

I have a Breguet ultra-thin automatic, and it has been pretty reliable as well, keeping good time and only needing the occasional cleaning. My wife, on the other hand, has a women's Breguet Heritage automatic that has been less than reliable. It has had a number of problems, some perhaps attributable to her, but some I believe more due to the design or construction of the movement. I would also say that there have been a few issues with Breguet's repair service over the years, though I think those are now sorted out. Breguet make beautiful watches, but based on my experience I would recommend PP over them.

From what I gather, they are quite suitable for today's office environments.

These ultra high end watches have delicate, incricate movements that cost a fortune to service. I wouldn't do anything other than desk dive with them. Carefully.
