Anybody use this product for thinning hair? Whats the verdict fellas?

Don't bother, it is over priced Saw Palmetto, which sucks topically anyways. Check out some of the other hair loss threads here or go to an actual hairloss forum. This recipe is off a hairloss forum that many have seen good results with.

So far, I'm very pleased with the Lithium/DMSO + Caffeine mix. I've been using the Orotate form of Lithium, which is non-Rx and more bioavailable than the more commonly known Lithium Carbonate. Per 8 oz. bottle of non-SLS shampoo, I use the following: 1 1/2 tsp of crushed Lithium pills (or powder) 1 tsp of DMSO liquid (99%) 1/2 tsp to 2 tsp of Caffeine (depending upon sensitivity) I use 2 tsp of it. Here's the shampoo that I find works well with it. http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails....999670863&at=0

www.iherb.com is fine.

For the caffeine look for the anyhydrous powder at bulknutrition.com

Plenty of other places online to order from though.

it seems to me that its a bad Idea to use DMSO because smelling like a mixture of Garlic and Oysters is far worse than being Bald.

Very small amount of DMSO. The mixture probably smells like the shampoo you put it in. Also, you only have to put it in 10-15 mins before a shower. Or you could try in the shower and let it sit for 5-10 mins then rinse.

Yes they have them. Just grind the pills into a powder. I find crushing pills easiest by putting them in a plastic bag and then using a rolling pin.

Sadly they are out of DMSO.

My brother has investigated and been told that the only real way to slow, stop and eventually regrow hair is a regimen of PRPECIA, ROGAINE and using a specialized Hair cleaning system like NIOXIN. I am not an expert but I recall he was voracious in his research.

Most people will recommend Propecia (finasteride) or Rogaine (minoxidil) as the only things that *might* work. But this is silly, if it worked so well then we wouldn't have to worry about finding new ways. I think provillus does contain minoxidil, but if you want to use minoxidil, just go buy some generic stuff at Costco.

Nioxin is widely regarded as nothing more than an overpriced shampoo. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to "clean" by fishing out demodex mites, which can be done much more easily and cheaply using something like seabuckthorn oil or tea tree oil.

I've been researching hairloss for several years now and I believe there are many things that can cause hairloss. Finding the cause of your own hairloss is the critical thing.

interesting.

what are some of the causes you believe are at fault: stress, diet, hormones? Where does genetics fit in here?
Yea, how do you narrow down your causes to what you feel it is.
It is a long and tedious process. I think it took me 3 years to narrow mine down. You go with one theory and then test it out for several months. It is frustrating as well.

I think today's poor diet accelerates hairloss. You should not be going bald in your teens.
