BTW anyone know the difference between wader and Tapered dockers? Are they equally slim?

if u mean: "Slim Tapered Khaki - Pleated "

the material
pleats
and the inseam (im assuming its at least 32")

are all different, the cut looks slightly slimmer in the thighs, just buy em its cheap to return/exchange if they dont work out for u

How are the Dockers Wader sizes, compared to Levis 511?

I think someone answered this earlier: they are the same except the waders have a 30" inseam.

Anybody know of a nice fair of flannel-lined khakis/cords that still fit pretty slim? Those are so nice in the cold but my dad's are just so baggy I can't wear them.

I've tried on both, and they are very similar in fit. The difference is the fabric, which I think (and others disagree) is great. It feels like a lighter-weight moleskin material and crinkles a bit like a jean. In terms of crispiness, it's similar to the first run of J.Crew officer's chino-- a little more dense and crisp than its successors. I like it because it's cheaper than the urban slim and seems (so far) to be a good, durable pair for beating up around the house on weekends.

Just ordered some Dockers D1s. Promo code FRIEND2010 will give you a 30% discount on all regular and sale merchandise through the 8th. Not sure if this is a one use code, but I doubt it.

I got the signature khaki slim in fog and the slim soft khaki in ghurka. I'll post my opinions when I get my order.

yeah if the waders are anything like the 'broken in' chinos from J.crew I'd be perfectly happy, I feel theirs is pretty thick and nice, I've had a pair for over two years and they're nice, except they're the classic fit, so not really slim enough for what I want

I got the signature and the slim soft 2 weeks ago and they fit pretty much straight leg and not slim at all. The leg opening on the 34x30's i got is 18". I ended up throwing it in the same package and return it right away. I'm about to order the SF slim tapered and the wader hoping for a better fit.

So after 32 pages have we come to any definitive slim fit chinos? Looking for something very slim with a small leg opening in navy.

Interesting. I was dissuaded from getting the SF tapered because people saying they fit like 511s. 501s fit me pretty well, and I'm not really down w/ hardcore nut-huggin. My size is 30X32 for what it's worth, and every body is unique. 6'1" 152lbs. EDIT: Can you comment on the quality of the fabric and construction?
