Hot Dog Day is actually right. I got called out for being to casual in my bizcas+ office when i was wearing the 511's. However, I can't imagine that Topman or BDG chinos are much better. Then again for that price you can get D1 dockers on sale and get them slmmed below the knee. I did that after the aforementioned calling out.

I actually agree that they aren't really business appropriate. The 511 trousers definitely aren't 5 pocket jeans though, as jeans don't have slant pockets and those pants only have 4 pockets anyway. My favorite slim chinos that I've tried are the unis gio, with the rrl officer chino coming second.

They just look dumb then, they still have jean back pockets but chino slant pockets? why?

They look better than with a shirt tucked into them than jeans actually. I'm a shorty too so i never wear untucked shirts, even casually, and the tan ones look great with a black shirt and the black ones look really good with darker colored shirts.

You guys know that levis and dockers ate the same company right?

If you buy slim fit dockers, you are just buying levis chinos (which explains why the quality control is equally bad)

that comment is stupid and i hate you for it. no but really the chino material is different between the 511's (which are more twill-y) and dockers (which are traditional "chinos")
