I haven't, khakis are new to me, so I wasn't sure if they stretch like denim. The waist on these seems to fit just about right, not skin tight and not loose even though I normally wear a 32 or 33 in denim.

Check out Perry Ellis portfolio modern fit khakis. They have a slim straight fit and the fabric seems to be relatively high quality for the price. Try on a few different ones, as tagged measurements vary from actual measurements. I tried on two 34x34 pairs, and one was slimmer than the other. They are cheap and available at Macy's.

Size 34wx32L Eclipse Blue

if i'm not mistaken, jcrew classic fits are not slim. they're more of a tapered look than slim. there is slim fit which i believe is what you're looking for. the classic fits are also more tts.

Well there is the new Urban Slim Fit, but these are the older style which they regard as a slimmer fit (then there regular khaki). Classic Fit Broken in link and there description: * Slimmer, more tailored—our most popular fit. * Sits on hips, slim through hip and thigh, with a narrow leg.

Sorry if I missed this, but I'm looking for actual waist measurements on the gap and dockers slim fit. Are they true to size, or vanity sized?

I would like to know this exact information for the JCrew Urban fit

I sized my Dockers city slim fit true to my normal khaki/dress pant size. For the Gap khaki's I need to size down one. I'm a 30 in Dockers and a 29 in Gap.

Those new J. Crew joints look like they're the classic with more taper. Are there any pics other than the site's? Also, H&M has a nice slim cut.

Does anyone know if Rag & Bone's Newman chinos (photo on http://www.odinnewyork.com/) are the same as their McQueen chino from last summer? They look the same to me (from photos), but haven't tried these new ones on in person.... I hope so, cos the McQueen was the best fitting khaki's (and perhaps even pants, period) I've ever bought

Think those are the pair I tried on recently. If so they are cropped really short.

The slim fit W+H chinos from this season have the same issue. The inseam is between 31 and 32 inches. It works for me, but if you are any taller than 5'9" to 5'10" range then they are likely too short. (Unless you want your chinos to look like capri pants).
