Slim Fit Khaki's/Chino's - Page 113

I had my tailor narrow my Brooks Brother's Milanos using my Docker's Alphas as a guide. I wear 32 waist in both. They were about the same through the hips, but the Milanos were something like 2 inches larger through the thighs and calfs.  So BB>>alphas.

Looking for a nice pair of slim olive or army green chinos for the summer. I need a pair that is nice enough to wear in a casual office environment, and not too slim. I've checked the usual suspects (BB milanos, JCrew classic fit, etc.), but most don't seem to be offering any chinos in olive.

Can anyone recommend a pair?

Thanks

Banana Republic Emerson's were made in an olive color last year, and I still see them on clearance racks in stores when I go in.  I enjoy the Emerson's.

Levi's 508s fit me well but I'd like to pick up something a little nicer (quality/fabric-wise)

Consider going custom. Luxire can be recommended.

If anyone is still looking for a pair of chinos, I strongly recommend GAP lived-in slim khaki. You know GAP has something up its sleeves when it puts out chinos at $60 a pair and in 20 colors. The construction is on par with that of chinos twice its price, the fit is great, and the color is uncharacteristically rich. A lot of sizes and colors are on sale too. A gift from GAP doesn't come by very often so you should definitely check it out.

True, but they're too casual and can only be worn on weekends, not to the office.

how slim are these things? IE the waist and hem specifcally.

afters Reggs recommendation, I ventured into GAP and picked up some of the tailored slim fit khakis. What a pleasant surprise - they fit well - much better than the picture on the website. Picked up a 32x30

Anyone know any similar fitting dress pants? Most dresss pants have trouble fitting my thighs.

They fit like the docker alphas with less of a taper, more like a 514/slim-straight fit.

Hi,

I'm looking for a nice slim fit chino alternative to the Unis Gio/Gio Skinny. Does anyone have any suggested brands?

I'm looking for something of comparable quality though, I have alphas from dockers but the quality seems sub-gio lol.
