Can anyone tell me whether J Crew's sizing is TTS?

J Crew's bowery pant is one of my go to chinos as is rugby university when I want some color in my life....

Both are slim on me...kind of big quads though.

do you guys think that the jcrew factory bedford chinos

would be able to be dressed up or down, if the creases

where ironed out?

Cant speak from experience but if they are the same material as bowery, then yes they can if pressed.

thanks for the input omni.  I'm opposite, never felt the bowery material.

I wear them 2-3 times a week just because I prefer the fit over my dress pants...I have one pair of navy that is starting to fade after 2 years that needs to be replaced but comfort/durability index on these is great.

I figured this would be the right place to post: I'm looking for slim-fitting gray trousers that fit like the wings+horns westpoint chinos. I love the way mine fit, but I'm looking for something gray, which w+h doesn't have.

+1 - I recommend the Gios highly also. Another alternative can also include the Epaulet Rivet Chinos.

Thanks for the recommendations. Unis Gio seems to be the fit I'd like, but the color isn't exactly what I'm after. I'll definitely keep it in mind for other colors, though.

I checked out the Epaulet Rivet Chinos, and I found this: http://www.epauletshop.com/servlet/the-1438/%27%27Slim-Walt-Trouser-Steel/Detail. I think that might fit similarly. Unfortunately it's out in my size.

Just wondering... is this year's Westpoint Chinos by W+H true to size?

I sized down one on a pair from SSENSE, 30 -> 29. They fit a bit tight in the waist, but I can button them just fine. I'd imagine they'll stretch a bit too.

I thought it's pretty close to TTS, but I'm not 100% on if I got this year's or not. I bought it a few months ago at Sak's for 50% off.

I got the UNIS Gios Skinny instead. Fit and quality is fantastic. Wish its tapered even more.

Anybody try these or any other of bonobos slim straights? I really like their selection of colors but i'm not sure about the fit of their pants.
