Anybody own these, http://www.blueowl.us/scripts/psp/VB_Bridge3.dll?VBPROG=\bin\shop.prodt.detail&SKU=7980002

??

Looking for opinions on fitting and material quality.

Sigh, even after years of searching, I still haven't found a quality chino that fits my bill. My holy grail is RRL officer selvedge but they never stock size 28. I'm tempted to settle for Bonobos due to the fit, but I don't like the weight and the fact that it's not made in the USA.

I haven't found any good chinos at all that ships to Europe... I use a proxy for J crew, but that's it.

well any body visited UNIQLO...? I think their casual chino pretty good in this season... BTW they're just $29.9 each now, on sale...

Reason I ask is because the Alpha just doesn't work for me. My legs are too long and my feet are too god damned big for the tapered. I'm looking for a similar fit from the top block to knee, with a 8-8.5" hem instead of the 7.5' hem.
I've heard that there is some inconsistency in measurements across different colors. Any truth to this?

Try the ones at KOHLs. They have alpha khakis there...but they made them more conservative by having an 8 inch cuff. Other than that the construction and material seem to be the same. Bonus... on sale you can get them for around 30 bucks. I have both the dockers website alphas as well as the kohls. I like them both.

on the contrary, i find the jcrew chinos to be just fine for my physique.  i'm 5'9 and have 22in relatively muscular thighs.  i tried on both the BB milano and jcrew urban slim fit.  from my experience BB milano is slimmer fitting than jcrew.  i didn't buy the BB because they come with creases .. a bit harder to dress down if chinos have creases imho.

i guess my point is, if you're on the skinnier side, jcrew may be too baggy. however, if you have a relatively more athletic build, i found the jcrews to be just fine.  can't complain spending only $70 on some pants either :)

I just sent back J Crew classic chinos and want to swap them for some Urban fit ones, which fit are you talking about?

Does anyone know where to get the straight fit Dockers alpha khaki? They're not available at Kohl's online anymore. I tried the slim fit version but they were just way too tight around the calves.

What's the difference? Same fit top block, less tapered leg opening? If yes, I'd like to know too!

Yeah, that sounds like the fit. They are not available at Kohls anymore but the link is below. Theres some talk of them on the Levis site too under the slim Alpha khakie reviews.

Bought several pairs of Alpha khakis from dockers.com.  They are pretty solid, sized down one like my Levis and they worked out good.  I did get one oddity in a buckskin color that was easily 3 or 4 sizes over the tagged size.  All the other colors I got were great.  Def need to loose all the orange branding but at least nobody can see it.

I know that most people on this forum would not be caught dead wearing a&f, but can anyone offer critiques on the abercrombie skinny chino (other than the branding):
