I seriously couldn't imagine requiring over 16 gb of stuff that I have to listen to RIGHT NOW.
I could probably make do with 5gb, even, because there' never more than 5gb of music that I feel like listening to at any given time.
That said, I have a 5G iPod and there's no reason whatsoever for me to upgrade. But I still love it. It's a fantastic toy.
the one reason why i got an ipod back in 2002 or so, 2nd gen. because as a college student at the time and also someone who inherited tons, i mean tons (i was a music director at my radio station), i had thousands of cds, and while i don't mind cds, it was the move every fucking year with these billion boxes of cds that i hated. and even now, i always buy the biggest capacity ipods because i'd always rather have too much than too little, and i never want to carry boxes of cds around ever again. ever.
