And on TFS we already have Jack and Lazaro of Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen or Stefano Pilati taking over for Valentino.

Oh, that disgusting Posen.

Maybe it should be Tara Subkoff.

Yeah, I was actually going to say something but I thought we derailed poor Neil Barrett enough.

The best line in that thread was the person who said of Valentino's retirement, "This is the worst day of my life." What a luxury in life if you are so vacuous that a 75 year old obsolete man's retirement is the worst day in your life.

Okay, promise no more TFS bashing for me (okay, probably not... but anyway)

To bring it back, what about Neil Barrett for Valentino? (haha)

I know Miss Deanna s.r.l. (Deanna Ferretti) makes a lot of the clothing items (or she did until recently), but I'm not sure who makes the shoes. I'd be curious to know as well...

I have a pair of his burn leather boots bicker boots which are quite yummy. I do agree a lot of his clothing fits the generic goth-militaria mold but there are some gems to be found. As for Pilati leaving YSL and being replaced by Slimane,

Bump - Saw some Neil Barrett clothing this weekend and seemed nice but what's the general consensus of the quality of his most recent products?

I'd like to hear more opinions on Neil quality as well. Some of his stuff on sale at Nordstrom in Chicago currently.
