TopGear Now on BBC America

Finally -- it started airing last week. I caught part of one ep and it didn't seem neutered as the U.S./Discovery Channel eps had been.

Finally. Now all the Beeb needs to do is to put it on DVD.

This is good news. BTW, have you read the "TopGear" mag? A friend of mine is half Brit and also TG obsessed. His father had sent him some super-thick TG mags and they were really good reads, not nearly as boring as C&D or R&T can be. I think you can find it in the US but it can't be cheap.

Yeah, I can get it at B&N. Bought the Aston issue just for the novelty, but likely won't purcahse one again -- it'd only be half that thick if it wasn't for the car summary reviews at the back. And you don't need them every month. It was fun though. SF tie-in -- tonight, during the cool wall segment, Clarkson said "sartorial elegance." They also reviews the car I am seriously considering buying, the Lotus Exige S. TopGear: the best show, ever. Regards, Huntsman

It's included if you have DirecTV.

Just started watching this show. It's great. Does anyone know what cars have actually made it into the Sub Zero or whatever it's called category?

Now BBCAmerica needs to bring Quite Interesting to us.

bbc america is just starting to show this now?
what year are they on?

thank god bbc canada has been showing it for a while

rdawson, go to the top gear website in the uk and they have all the information you need:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/

it's funny how different the bbc canada and bbc america are:

one my favourite shows is 'spooks' but i see that bbc america rebrands it as 'mi-5' just like a&e did when it was shown on a&e .....
some of the premiers that i see on the bbc america site were shown last year on bbc canada .....

BBC America sucks (granted, it's better than nothing), but what I wouldn't give to simply view BBC1 live on TV...!

Clarkson is an idiot. Why do Americans like to watch him when all he does is badmouth America? It seems to me as if the guy has an inferiortity complex vis a vis the US.

Same reason why we love The Daily Show.

Bad mouthing America is a constitutionally protected right! In, um, America.

Have Clarkson's tiresome books hit the usa yet? The topgear intro is probably only the first step of the clarkson bandwagon. Next!

re. QI: Stephen Fry is an wonderful antidote to the tiresome Clarkson.
