Saw Matt Dillion in a high-end clothing store many years ago.

He acted as if he owned the store and the employees were his peons.

I was not impressed.

It takes guts to have a username of "rolex" on this board.

Cool. Heifetz is one of my favorite musicians. I collect much of his work.

On a related pissing note, I was taking a piss in the bushes off the parking lot of a Phish show in either '95 or '96 and Mike Gordon rides by on his bike and chats me up. He struck me as a weird dude.

Is he the bass player who is an amateur photog? That guy has some serious lack of judgment - if I recal correctly, he asked some underage teen to 'pose' for some cheesecake shots. Problem was the little Lolita's daddy was a Hells Angel....

At about 3:30 today I was rushing to a listing appointment on Memorial Drive headed east toward downtown starting at Memorial Park.

When I got to the bridge-overpass at Shepherd and Memorial, there were cops stopping traffic both ways. I was the second car stopped and then a huge line of cars were stopped behind me. I asked a cop what was going on and I was very surprised when he told me that George Bush (yes, the POTUS) was coming south on Shepherd and for security they were blocking Memorial Dr. which runs under a bridge at that intersection.

Well, the whole Kahuna came! First about 8 motorcycle cops. Then about 10 police cars. Then about 4 limos. I thought I recognized GWB in the middle Limo, but I couldn't be sure. I know he was in one of the limos. Then came about 4 more cop cars and amazingly, what looked like a s swat bomb vehicle and an ambulance. I guess the SS takes their job very seriously.

The wait was about 1/2 hour and I missed my appointment. Another reason to despise the SOB. I truly believes that he is in a fantasy world, and he believes that Condi is a typical black woman, and Dick Cheney is an average working Joe!. And of course he'll readily swear that the economy is fine! I truly think that this Nimrod is living in a fantasy-land cocoon.

It breaks my heart, but I'm considering Obama as POTUS. I'm not fooling myself, and I look for Barack to be another Jimmy Carter. But he is the natural progression and repudiation that GWB has so rightfully earned.

You seem to be missing a verb there; leaving it up to our imaginations is dangerous.

Saw Anne Hathaway last week in the backseat of a black Tahoe on 6th Ave and 44th St. in NYC. Early morning. She was staring out into the distance, rather teary eyed. Lots of make-up, not nearly as gorgeous in person. Might've had something to do with the whole business regarding her ex.

Ran into Jay-Z on a flight from Charlotte, NC to NY. Was in first class on some sort of three-way pager contraption (way back when). Waited in LGA baggage claim and signed autographs. Dude seriously is 6'6", I thought he might step on me and I'm 6'2".

I once saw Dave "the Snake" Sabo (guitarist from Skid Row) in the distance at a WCW wrestling event in the Meadowlands, NJ. This was before the second album. He was surrounded by clamoring fans, and sported the trademark nosering-to-earring chain. I was impressed at the time. And then I hit puberty.
