Does she look as tomboy-ish in person?

Victor Wooten at NAMM today. Neither expected nor unexpected, but he's cool so always good. Love to see that guy play.

I was a server in a Greek restaurant in LA. in 1990... My celebrity guests were:

Flea - Red Hot Chili Peppers (5+ times)

Bobby Unser Jr. (1 time)

Dan Aykroyd (1 time)

Jack Palance (1 time)

James Spader (6 times)

Liam Neeson (1 time)

Paula Abdul (1 time, held her hand and danced around the tables)

Rob Lowe (1 time)

Ivan Drago (1 time)

Jerry Van Dyke (Coach, lived around the corner & up the street, he and his wife were regulars)

Gary Shandling (regular to go lunch)

Various TV personalities - Alan Thicke, Michael J. Fox, and others I can't even remember now.

Walton Goggins (Justified, etc.) parked cars and was the only celebrity I met/knew/hung out with before making it big. I was only in LA for a year break while at university.

There were probably many more that I never knew were famous. A lot of writers came in, I dated one - she was a flake.

Rubbed elbows, literally, with Jimmy Fallon at a midtown bar Saturday. Since I am terrible with faces, and haven't watched a late night show on my own since Leno left late night (the first time)., I was very surprised that I recognized him, but his character is as ebullient as he usually seems -- at least with others. That is very recognizable.

Last week I ran into Coach Steve Alford (UCLA basketball) and then about 30 minutes later Coach Jim Mora (UCLA football) …. sure I was on campus, but I didn't expect to meet them both in the span of 30 minutes. On Wednesday night I ran into Mario van Peebles at Ralph's … apparently in the midst of a pre-Cinco de Mayo hot sauce emergency.

"Excuse me where's the hot sauce? Sir, I need some hot sauce, where can I find the hot sauce?!" LOL … look it's MvP. He was very chill though. We chatted for a few minutes about film/current projects. He was wearing some funky-ass baller sneaks that I couldn't recognize, was not able to scope and certainly was not going to ask.
