Anyways, I really have no desire to take this any further. Your argument is stupid and flawed.
Let's say I'm financial stable, not as much as Dillon, and not famous. So things get heated between me and Dillon and 'the establishment' sides with him because he's a famous actor. And that matters because.....oh right, it doesn't. Furthermore there is no guarantee that any sides would be taken from the restaurant itself. If they got involved they'd probably ask Dillon to leave (or leave my table) or ask me and him to leave if it really got to that. The chance of the restaurant truly taking his side is slim to none unless the owner is a personal friend of Dillon's or I take it to a level beyond what Dillon is bringing.
I give him zero credit for potentially having 'the balls' to approach some guys girl. It's called being a fucking tool. And if you respect him for doing such a thing, it says a lot about you.
Seriously, guy. I can sympathize. If I was in a deep conversation with an aunt or cousin and some hotshot actor butt in asking for her digits, it would irritate me as well. But it's Matt Dillon. I'm sure the guy is used to preferential treatment, getting what he wants when he wants it, etc. Again, he isn't a saint but him having the stones to approach your lady while you're right there merits some recognition. By the way, the restaurant would most likely side with Matt because I'm sure he'd claim he meant no harm while every patron within a 25-foot radius would attest to you overreacting.
