A friend of mine saw Bruce Cockburn (the Canadians here will know who he is) at an army surplus store.

Yeah he did actually and this was previous to the Steve Moore incident. I knew I should have told someone.

Kate Walsh winked at me last time I was in LA. I wasn't even at my sartorial best.

Ogre, from Revenge of the Nerds. Evidently he's a co-owner of a bar in Chicago, so I'm crossing the street and look up. I half-expected him to bonk me on the head and shout, "Nerd!" But he didn't.

Used to work in a coffee shop on State/Division, and Tom Green came in with a friend. We were busy, so I made like I didn't recognize him, told him I'd be with him in a moment, and when I went back to their table they had left. Thought that was interesting.

Traveling with some folks from work and while at Hartsfield-Jackson in ATL, we ran into P-Diddy.

I walked up to him and said, "hey, what's up, how you doing, brah?".. and gave him the handshake and man-hug, and he said "not bad, baby boy...how you doing?". I said, "just tired and can't wait to get to the room and lay down". He said, "I feel you...you hang in there man".

My co-workers was like "Do you KNOW him?"

I was like "Nope..but he was just standing there so I decided to see how he would react to me shaking his hand".

They were like "BULL-****. No way!".

I'm the only black dude in my department, so I guess they couldn't figure out if I was lying or what.

I'm sure he probably asked one of his people, "do I know that fool from somewhere?" I guess it was probably my size and the way I was dressed, he thought I was a Football player or something..

You were wearing a powder blue diagonal striped six button Stacy Adams suit with matching gators, about $50k in platinum and diamond jewelry, a baseball cap, and Gucci shades? (And you were with about half a dozen white chicks!)

Nah... I'm a member of SF, now would I wear that ****? LOL.

I can't remember what I was wearing exactly, but it was a very nice fitted suit. HSM, I think.

Last night I was going to my local Krogers ( it's a nice neighborhood ) when I run into Dikembe Motumbo, the Houston Rockets center.

He's really a great guy. Turns out he had an operation on his knee ( career ending ), by the same surgical group that operated on my shoulder. Other than the fact he is 1 foot and 1/2 taller than me, black, and wealthy professional athlete that has truly done a lot of humanitarian things, we might have been brothers

Anyway, we talked for about 20 minutes about the Hospital in the Congo, his post basketball activities in Houston, and whether he'll stay in Houston.

I've met many professional athletes, and he stood out as a Congolese mensche.

I'll post a picture tonight.

BTW: Rockets upset the Lakers last night. F**k Kobe the ******
